Downtown El Paso Deck Plaza

This study brought my graduate class to The El Paso Botanical Garden project, which would sit atop a concrete bridge plaza covering a 6 block section of interstate 10. We were tasked with considering the changing climate and extreme sun/heat, community input including the cultural exchange with Mexico just across the border and the proximity and relationship of the plaza to the nearby economic center of the downtown area.
